Depicted-Person Content Removal
This separate process is for content that depicts you and was posted without your consent, or where withdrawal of consent must be reviewed. You may submit a request even if you do not own the copyright.
1. Who May Submit a Request
A person depicted in the content, or their authorized representative, may submit a request. Copyright infringement claims should use the separate DMCA process.
2. Information to Include
Provide the exact URL for each item, where you appear in the content, why you are requesting removal, and an email address where we can reach you.
3. Identity and Privacy
To prevent abusive requests, we may ask for the minimum information needed to verify identity or authority. If identification is requested, redact unnecessary numbers and addresses. Verification material is used only to process the request.
4. Review and Action
After receiving a request, we may temporarily restrict the content while reviewing uploader information, consent, and relevant circumstances. If the request is validated, we will remove or restrict access to the content and communicate the result.
5. Urgent Requests
Mark the request as urgent if it involves a minor, coercion, sexual violence, exposure of personal information, or immediate safety concerns. If danger is ongoing, contact the appropriate authorities immediately as well.
